This year marks 60 years since the twin-cylinder BSA A65 with it's 'power egg' unit-construction engine was launched which gives us the perfect reason to give the October issue a bit of an A65 theme.
We open our BSA A65 special with a ride on the twin-carb Lightning, before taking a spirited ride across the Yorkshire Moors on an 1971 Firebird Scrambler and then thrash the Kentish back lanes on a Hornet Scrambler.
Elsewhere in the issue we test the Yamaha TX750, visit Donington Classic Festival and take a trip down memory lane to when American motorcycling pioneers put their early machines to the limit riding up the side of mountains.
